10 Apr LinkedIn Has Finally Introduced Video for Company Pages!
LinkedIn has jumped on the video bandwagon, allowing you to upload video natively to the platform. LinkedIn is also giving businesses the opportunity to sponsor video.
Sponsored content are video ads that are placed in the newsfeed as a standalone post. Each post has a call to action button allowing businesses to capture leads at any point throughout the video.
In a similar style to other social media channels like Facebook, you can target your content to your desired audience by metrics such as job title, seniority, company name, industry, skills etc.
Additionally, you have the same reporting and analytics tools as traditional LinkedIn advertising. Allowing you to measure conversions, impressions, social actions and clicks.
As well as sponsored content LinkedIn now allows businesses to publish video on their company page, LinkedIn notes that a company page with video is 5x more likely to generate conversation compared to other types of content.
At Totalize Media, we’re really excited about this news. Despite Facebook being saturated with video (It now has more video than YouTube!), our own tests have shown that posts with video deliver 5 – 10 x the amount of reach compared to a post with an image!
